The Service
KU North Ryde Preschool is a welcoming and established preschool, providing quality early childhood education and care to children and families in the local community.
The service offers a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children are supported to develop confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.
Educators work in close partnership with families to provide meaningful learning experiences that reflect KU's values and commitment to children's safety, wellbeing and participation.
The Role
We have a parental leave contract opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to join KU North Ryde Preschool, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, commencing 12 October for 12 months.
This isa rewarding opportunity to contribute to a dedicatedpreschool team,deliverhigh-qualityearly childhood education, and build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
You will bring sound pedagogical knowledge, a commitment to contemporary practice, and the ability to create inclusive, engaging and responsive learning environments for children.

You will have:
A current NSW Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
NESA Teacher Accreditation
Completed Child Protection Training, National Child Safety Training, and a demonstrated understanding of current child secure practices
Current First Aid and CPR certificates, along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law *****) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations *****)
Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
A commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice and ongoing professional learning
