Are you an experienced Parts Interpreter who enjoys solving customer problems, building relationships, and working with industry-leading products?
Twin Disc Pacific is seeking a customer-focused and energetic Parts Interpreter to join our growing Aftermarket team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with globally recognised marine and industrial brands while being supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team.
Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customers receive the right parts and solutions every time.
You'll work closely with our technical experts, workshop team, suppliers, and customers across a diverse range of marine, industrial, mining, power generation, and heavy equipment applications.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to enquiries and accurately interpreting parts requirements
Identify and source replacement parts using electronic and hard-copy catalogues, technical resources, and supplier information
Prepare and manage customer quotations for parts sales and service‐related works
Coordinate customer orders from quotation through to invoicing, ensuring a seamless customer experience
Manage backorders and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of parts and services
Keep customers informed with proactive communication and order updates
Generate freight quotations and coordinate shipping requirementsMaintain accurate customer and order records within our CRM and ERP systems
Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
Promote Twin Disc Pacific products, services, and aftermarket solutions
Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and service partners
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar parts sales/customer support role
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of parts and component identification
A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Confidence working with ERP and CRM systems
Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Office applications
Experience with MomentumPro, Express Tech, Salesforce, or JD Edwards (highly regarded but not essential)
A curious mindset and eagerness to build expertise in our products, technical solutions, and the industries we support
