About the Position




Our client is seeking a Partner Level - Family Lawyer to join their Brisbane CBD team and take on a key leadership position within a specialist family law environment.
This prospect is suited to a Senior Associate, Special Counsel, Team Leader, or existing Partner who is looking for a clearer pathway to Partnership, greater leadership responsibility, or a platform where they can focus on high-quality legal work without the traditional pressures of building a practice from the ground up.
You will manage a sophisticated portfolio of family law matters, including complex property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements, divorce proceedings, family violence matters, international asset considerations, and high-net-worth financial matters.
Working alongside experienced family law professionals, you will have access to strong operational support, established processes, and dedicated client care resources, allowing you to focus on providing strategic advice, negotiating outcomes, mentoring lawyers, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
This role provides the opportunity to:
Lead and mentor junior lawyers within a growing specialist team

Key Requirements
8+ years PAE experience with strong Family Law expertise (private practice experience is needed for this role)
Experience managing complex parenting and property matters
Strong technical ability and confidence handling sophisticated files
Proven ability to build trusted client relationships
Leadership, mentoring, or team management experience
Commercial mindset and interest in contributing to practice growth
Passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes
