Chisholm is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst- HRIS for our TAFE Transformation Office

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Business Analyst supports the Senior Project Manager in the successful delivery of a complex, digital HRIS transformation project by ensuring business, People, Culture and Safety (PCS) and technical requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and aligned to agreed outcomes.
Broadly, this role is accountable for solution definition, technical recommendation and testing, process identification, technical understanding, problem solving, teamwork, and stakeholder management.
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst - HRIS, your key responsibilities include:
Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements across Chisholm and PCS SMEs (subject matter experts) across the Victorian TAFE Network.
Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of the technical solution, including configuration options, limitations, dependencies and integration points to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with requirements.
Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to support planning, sequencing, and dependency management.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and implementation partner to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguity.
Maintain clear traceability between requirements, design decisions, testing, and delivered outcomes.
Review and validate vendor produced documentation, designs and solution artefacts to ensure they are complete, accurate, fit-for-purpose, and aligned to agreed requirements.
Define acceptance criteria and support test scenario development.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and the ITS team to define Chisholm's technical requirements, identify and resolve technical problems.
Coordinate project activities and build trusted working relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and Chisholm teams.
This position is assessed as partly remote capable and if this position is approved for flexible work arrangements Chisholm's retains the right to recall to campus in the event of incidents and events that require on campus attendance.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with demonstrated ability to lead the design, documentation and development of business requirements and functional specifications, and extensive experience conducting technical business analysis, problem definition, systems requirements, and developing solutions that align with business needs.
Qualifications required for the role
Relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Analysis or equivalent experience
