You'll ideally have:
A completed degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, Product Development, Data Analytics or Business Analytics
Retail, customer-facing, internship or commercial experience
What you'll be doing
As a Trainee Category Manager, you'll partner closely with Category Managers, Buyers and Trade Partners to support and influence category performance. You'll:
Develop your commercial acumen by helping
shape product ranges, pricing strategies and promotional plans
that influence customer purchasing decisions.
Take
ownership of a product sub-category
, learning how to balance sales, profitability, inventory and customer outcomes.




Turn data into action
by analysing customer, sales and market trends to identify opportunities and solve commercial challenges.
Learn how to
build and manage supplier relationships
, working with trade partners to bring great products and value to our customers.
Collaborate with teams
across marketing, digital, stores, planning and merchandising to deliver engaging customer experiences both in-store and online.
Influence real business decisions
by contributing ideas, challenging thinking and recommending solutions that improve category performance.
