The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 6-week temporary assignment. This position has been engaged to provide annual leave cover while supporting the team through a busy year-end period. Supporting a high-volume Accounts Payable environment, you will be assisting with processing supplier invoices, accounts administration and data-entry and ensuring payment deadlines are met. The role will involve a mix of automated and manual processing, while also providing broader support to the Finance team as required. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, solid data entry or transactional finance experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Processing approximately ******* supplier invoices per week
Entering invoices accurately and efficiently to maintain workflow requirements
Managing weekly supplier invoices
Coding invoices across multiple financial ledger and cost centre codes
Processing invoices and supporting invoice upload processes




Utilising SAP and automation tools
Assisting with year-end Accounts Payable activities
Supporting the broader Finance team with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks
Ensuring accuracy across financial records and supplier transactions
About You
Must have previous experience within Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or an Accounts Officer role
Robust data entry skills with high attention to detail
Confident working with financial systems, ideally SAP
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage high volumes of work
Able to work independently and take ownership of your workload
Reliable, proactive and able to work collaboratively within a team
Available to commence immediately
