Located on the Murray River around 344 km northwest of Melbourne,
Swan Hill District Health (SHDH),
is a 143 bed (including Aged Care)fully integrated sub-regional public health service. They employ around 720 staff and service a 100 km radius area with an estimated catchment area of around 35,000 people. SHDH is a member of the Loddon Mallee Local Health Network which provides opportunities for collaboration and meaningful system level improvement. SHDH, are now seeking to appoint a high calibre health professional to this critical leadership role.
The Executive Director Clinical Services (EDCS) is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for providing strategic and operational leadership that ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centred clinical services across the organisation. The EDCS ensures that all care is individual, patient, resident, and client-centred,



aligns with best practice principles and statutory requirements, is evidence-based, meets qualified and clinical standards, and reflects the organisation's vision of delivering a Connected Care Best Experience. Fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement will be a key focus.
To be considered for this role, you will hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA and preferably a postgraduate qualification in health, administration, leadership or management. You will have extensive experience in a senior management position in healthcare with a demonstrated record of achievement within a complex health care environment. You will likewise have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills and substantial experience leading people and change management strategies including an understanding of industrial relations with knowledge of relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and processes.
