Private practice. Established books. Real clinical variety. Ten minutes from the airport, twelve from the city.
A well-run private clinic that's been operating in the area for years. Loyal patient base, strong local reputation, steady referral pipeline. The clinical standards are high, the culture is friendly without being saccharine, and the management style is the one most clinicians actually want — supportive when it matters, out of the way when it doesn't.
Reception and admin handle bookings, billing, and rebates. Treatment rooms are modern and properly equipped. Clinical software is current. You do clinical work; the practice handles the rest.
The caseload
General podiatry — nail and callus management, footwear and orthotic advice
Diabetic and high-risk foot management — a genuine feature of this catchment
Musculoskeletal and biomechanical assessment
Minor nail surgery and in-clinic procedures
Orthotic prescription, fitting, and review
Paediatric and family presentations
Preventive-health work and long-term patient management
Busy from your first week. No ramp-up. No cold-starting a diary.
On offer
Competitive base salary, structured around WA private-practice rates
Incentive component on top of base for higher-billing clinicians
Funded CPD and study leave
Relocation support for interstate or overseas candidates
Contemporary clinic, capable team, clinical autonomy
Clear pathway if you want to grow into a senior clinical role over time
Who This Role Suits
AHPRA-registered Podiatrist,

or eligible for registration
Confident across a mixed caseload — not just routine care
Good communicator, culturally adaptable, professional
Someone who wants a proper career at a practice that will invest in you
New graduates welcome to have a conversation — structured mentoring is provided
The clinic sits in Perth's inner east — part of the Belmont corridor, alongside Rivervale, Ascot, and Redcliffe. It's one of the more genuinely diverse pockets of Perth: an established migrant community, a strong working population, an ageing local demographic, and a growing wave of young families priced out of the western suburbs.
For a clinician, that mix matters. It means:
A patient base that reflects real Australia, not one postcode's worth of it
Consistent demand across general, high-risk, and MSK presentations
Referral networks that work — GPs, endocrinologists, and community health services that actually pick up the phone
The kind of clinical week where no two days look the same
Location-wise, it is one of Perth's quiet logistical wins. Ten minutes to Perth Airport. Twelve to the CBD. Direct access to Great Eastern Highway, Tonkin Highway, and the new Airport Line. Belmont Forum and Reading Cinemas across the road for lunch. Ascot Racecourse and the Swan River foreshore ten minutes north.
Mediix is committed to equal opportunity and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and experience levels.
