Our client is a well-established Australian food manufacturing business with a strong reputation in the industry. With continued investment across its operations, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of capital and operational projects across a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
The Role
An exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Engineer to manage engineering and capital projects across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Manage end-to-end delivery of CAPEX and operational engineering projects
Develop project scopes, cost estimates, budgets and schedules
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
Oversee installation, construction, commissioning and handover activities
Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost control
Conduct risk assessments including HAZOPs and SWMS




Ensure projects comply with WHS, environmental, food safety and site requirements
Your Background
Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or similar
3+ years' experience in Project Engineering, ideally within manufacturing or food processing
Strong technical engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical and/or process projects
Strong contractor and vendor management experience
Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
