About the role:
Experienced and motivated Cleaners are encouraged to join our team at Uniting AgeWell
Kings Meadows.
This is acasual opportunity working a variety of shifts 6am - 2pm, 730am - 3pm and 8am - 3pm
Ensure that all areas of the residence are kept hygienic and presentable
Contribute to a comfortable,



welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors
Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
Ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained
Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents, ensuring they are escalated in a timely manner
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, you also:
Availability to work at least 3 shifts a week
Demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents' property and privacy
Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)
Have sound knowledge of OH&S; procedures, relevant chemicals and protected work practices (preferred but not essential)
An understanding of infection control procedures
Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the

Essentials for working in Aged Care:
A current Working With
Vulnerable People card
Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
Australian working rights
Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
