Your New Role -Business Development Manager
We are actively seeking a full-time, dedicated, energetic, and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team.
Assess the external environment for the trade lane market (competition, economic & industry trends, technology and innovation trends, survey market developments and determine customer needs in alignment with regions) and define competitive position (assess competitors' products and growth potential)
Align with product and procurement in order to match product and trade lane demands
Develop standard operating procedures and implement new trade lane(s)
Develop and run advertising and promotion campaigns in cooperation with local marketing/corporate communications
Plan and carry out direct sales activities to attain new accounts in accordance with agreed sales and business plans
Develop new and prospective customers while maintaining existing accounts




Assist in preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ's and quotations with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
What you will need to succeed:
I would love to speak to individuals who bring experience from the Freight Forwarding sector. The ideal candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications:
Extensive sales experience within freight forwarding
Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities
Strong commercial and business acumen with effective influencing and negotiation skills to achieve targets
Highly engaging and innovative with the ability to find solutions for the customer
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and build effective relationship with people from multi-national and diverse backgrounds
Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organisation and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
