Kyogle Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department and Medical/Paediatric Short Stay ward on a contract basis. This is a six-week minimum engagement starting from 7 September, offering the opportunity to work in a agile acute care environment. The role is remunerated at AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, providing flexibility and competitive rates for experienced nursing professionals.
Work across ED and MPS in an acute care setting with diverse patient presentations
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour on a contract basis, minimum six weeks
Opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in triage, emergency response, and in-charge responsibilities
Preferred Requirements
Current Australian Triage Scale certification and demonstrated triage experience




Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification current and valid
Proven in-charge or charge nurse experience in an emergency or acute care setting
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
Additional certifications in emergency or acute care nursing practice
