We are currently recruiting a MR Driver/Labourer to join the Street Cleansing Team - working in one of Sydney's most beautiful bushland areas, surrounded by a supportive, skilled team and a council that truly values your contribution
Working as part of a multi-skilled team, carrying out a wide range of public cleansing tasks across the shire.
Mon to Sun Monthly Roster (2 - 3 weekend shifts per month)
Training, support and a positive team culture

Duties include:
Operating MR street sweeper trucks or a Ute
Litter and illegal dumping collection
Cleaning of public toilets, bus shelters, and other council assets
Use of leaf blowers, pressure washers,



and other cleaning equipment
Ad hoc cleaning and maintenance of public spaces
Following rotating monthly rosters including weekends
This is an outdoor, hands-on role where you'll take pride in keeping the Hornsby Shire clean and welcoming for the community.
What we are looking for:
Valid MR Drivers Licence
Experience in labouring, street cleaning, or waste services (preferred)
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual work
Ability to follow procedures, work in a team, and represent council positively
Reliable, proactive and detail-oriented
