NUM - Casino Hospital - Operating Theatre
Casino & District Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join its surgical team on a contract basis. This is a six-week minimum engagement starting 17 August, offering the opportunity to work in a busy operating theatre setting at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour. The successful candidate will bring established theatre nursing expertise and a commitment to supporting safe, efficient surgical care.

Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated operating theatre nursing experience in a hospital setting




Strong knowledge of theatre protocols, instrument management, and surgical safety standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
Excellent communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
Current understanding of infection control and theatre-specific compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-registration qualification or recognised experience in perioperative nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
