Specialist Medical Receptionist Role, Kogarah

The modern and privately owned specialistpracticeat St George Private Kogarah, is need of a fabulous receptionist to compliment their growing and friendly team on a casual basis. Having moved locations into the new private rooms recently, the practiceis stylishly designed and is dedicated to providing high quality health care to their many patients. The successful candidate will be provided with a parking space at the hospital and a very competitive rate of pay.
Applicants must be available a minimum of two week days including Fridays each week, either from 8.30am - 5pm or 12pm - 5pm, and be able to provide additional cover as well as working different days when needed for planned or urgent relief.
The successful applicantwill be professional, polished and have a commitment to patient care, as well as having a passion for customer service. This role will involve assisting patients both in person and by phone,supporting the director and admin staff, as well as various routine administrative tasks.



Although there is some self direction, the successful applicant must be able to follow direction, adhere to the practice policy and procedures, and work well in a team workplace.
Selection Criteria:
Must be available a minimum of two days per week including Friday from either 8.30am - 5pm or 12pm - 5pm, and be able to work different or additional days if needed
Must be fluent and very clearly spoken in English, with a warm and professional phone manner
Must have tertiary qualifications, (certificate IV, diploma, or degree at a minimum)
Robust customer service skills with with an ability to work well under pressure
Must have someadministrative experience
Exceptional typing and writing skills, with grammatical and spelling accuracy, as well as a flair for creative writing of professional documents
A reliable, quick learner, who is well presentedand professional at all times
Reception or customer service experience
Medical terminology knowledge
Preference will be given to applicants that reside in Kogarah, or the surrounding region
