Role Overview
Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and be committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in a fast‐paced and varied environment.
Responsibilities
Patient assistance and transfers, including use of lifting machine and bed movers
General housekeeping duties: cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management
Assist clinical staff with patient needs
Remove dirty linen and ensure clean linen is readily available
Operate in line with WHS policy and procedures
Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
Act as an active team member to support all work tasks
Qualifications




Authority to work in Australia
Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable)
Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
Working with Children check
Commitment to service excellence
Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
High level attention to detail
