Keece Electrical Services – Sydney CBD NSW
If you're a qualified electrician who thrives on working independently, solving complex problems on the fly, and tackling varied maintenance work, this could be the role for you. We're looking for an experienced technician who can take the lead when the job gets challenging, share their knowledge with junior technicians, and be someone the team can rely on.
What we offer
Senior hourly rate that reflects genuine experience, plus RDOs, overtime and after-hours callout loading.
Fully maintained company vehicle (take-home).
Ongoing training and opportunities for career progression.
Ongoing licence renewals, tickets and training fully funded.
Exposure to working with major clients who are leaders in their industry.
Immediate start.
About the role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work across a range of commercial and industrial sites, managing your own jobs and dealing with everything from reactive maintenance and fault finding through to more complex electrical works.
You'll generally work independently, but you'll also be the senior technical point of contact when jobs get more challenging. You'll take the lead on complex faults and projects, provide guidance to junior technicians, and share your knowledge and experience with the wider maintenance team.
Your work may include RCD and E&E; testing, thermographic scanning, switchboard upgrades, fault finding and breakdowns, as well as occasional work at heights.
This is a mobile, hands-on role where no two days are the same. We're looking for someone who is confident working autonomously, takes pride in their workmanship and can be relied on to get the job done safely and to a high standard.
This role offers genuine career progression for the right person.
As you build your track record and take on more complex work, there's a clear path into senior technician, supervisory, or leadership positions within the team. We invest in ongoing training and development, and we're committed to helping our people grow their skills and take on greater responsibility over time.
What you need:
Qualified Electrician with at least 5 years of electrical maintenance experience (preferable).
General mechanical aptitude (we are not just electricians, we're problem solvers).
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Licences: Drivers Licence, White Card, Electrical Licence, EWP, LVR/CPR (preferred).
Highly regarded (but not essential):
Test and tag, thermography or restricted HV switching qualifications.
Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation, Systems Design or similar.
Experience using a job management platform such as simPRO.
Experience with lighting control systems such as CBUS & Dynalite.
