Programmed Maintenance Services – Campbellfield VIC
We are currently seeking an experienced
Maintenance Electrician
for an ongoing opportunity with a leading manufacturing facility in Campbellfield.
This is a hands-on afternoon shift role working within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across production machinery, automated equipment, motors, control panels, sensors, and other electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults across motors, control panels, sensors, and automated production machinery
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to keep factory equipment operating efficiently
Carry out electrical fault finding and reactive maintenance
Set up and install new electrical systems, wiring, switchboards, and robotic technology
Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals
Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimise production downtime
Follow electrical safety requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and site safety standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and management teams
Identify potential equipment issues and assist with continuous improvement
Complete all required site inductions and safety procedures
Requirements:
Valid Electrical Licence -
Mandatory
Trade Electrical Certificate -
Mandatory
Previous electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience fault finding on motors, control panels, sensors, and automated machinery
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid organisational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Safetrac induction must be completed prior to commencing
