Our client is seeking an organised and proactive People & Safety Coordinator to join their team in a diverse role supporting Human Resources, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and general administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional support across multiple business functions.
About the Role
Working closely with leaders and external HR and WHS specialists, you'll play a key role in ensuring people and safety processes run smoothly. From onboarding new employees and coordinating recruitment through to supporting workers' compensation, compliance and training administration, you'll be an integral part of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding, employee records and HR administration
Provide administrative support across HR and WHS functions
Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work administration
Coordinate medical appointments, training, inductions and compliance activities
Track licences, qualifications and mandatory training requirements
Assist with recruitment, candidate communications and interview coordination
Coordinate labour hire onboarding and timesheet administration
Monitor attendance, leave records and HR system data
Manage uniforms and PPE purchasing and allocation
Support employee wellbeing initiatives,



meetings and staff events
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR, WHS and administrative processes
About You
You'll be an organised, detail-oriented administrator who enjoys building relationships and keeping things running efficiently. You are confident managing competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
You will ideally bring:
Previous administration experience
Robust organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems
A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Highly Regarded
Experience in HR or Workplace Health & Safety administration
Workers' compensation or return-to-work administration experience
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Human Resources or Work Health & Safety
