MESO Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN **************) is a Sydney-based construction business specialising in advanced in-ground solutions, including shoring systems, retaining walls, restraint systems, dewatering, waterproofing and reinforced concrete wall solutions. MESO works from concept and design through to certification and project execution across residential, commercial, aged-care, education and mixed-use developments.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Design Architect to join our Rosebery design team. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will contribute to the development, coordination and delivery of architectural design and documentation across a varied construction project portfolio.
This role is suited to an architect with strong documentation capability, sound technical judgement, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients and project stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project briefs, concept designs, and architectural solutions aligned with client requirements and project constraints.
Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications and documentation for concept, tender, construction and as-built stages.
Produce and manage BIM models and drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, geotechnical, civil and services consultants to support integrated project delivery.
Ensure design outputs comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant Australian Standards and applicable NSW planning and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with clients, builders, engineers,



certifiers and other consultants throughout the design and delivery phases.
Support tendering, design reviews, RFIs, and construction-phase design coordination.
Review site and construction information to ensure alignment between design intent, documentation and built outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM standards, documentation systems, and design workflows.
Provide guidance and support to junior designers and team members where required.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Architecture (Master of Architecture or equivalent recognised qualification).
Demonstrated experience in architectural design and documentation within the construction, geotechnical, or built environment sector, with full-time experience exceeding one year.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with practical BIM coordination capability.
Working knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and NSW planning controls.
Ability to prepare accurate, coordinated, and buildable documentation.
Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
Registration with the NSW Architects Registration Board, or eligibility/progress toward registration, is desirable.
