The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify business needs, analyse existing systems, document business and functional requirements, evaluate ICT solutions, and support the implementation of technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Task & responsibilities
Consult with business stakeholders to identify business needs, objectives and operational requirements.
Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements for ICT solutions.
Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and increased operational efficiency.
Prepare business requirement documents,



functional specifications, workflow diagrams and other project documentation.
Evaluate business requirements and recommend appropriate ICT solutions that align with organisational objectives.
Liaise with software developers, solution architects, testers and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support system implementation, integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure they meet business and user requirements.
Prepare user documentation, reports and training materials to support system implementation and adoption.
Provide post-implementation support and contribute to the continuous improvement of business systems and processes.
Qualification & experience
Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
1–2 years of relevant professional experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a similar ICT role.
Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements.
Robust analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate business processes and recommend appropriate ICT solutions.
Experience preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, process maps and related documentation.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and business analysis methodologies.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with enterprise business applications, systems integration or digital transformation projects will be highly regarded.
