Fleetweld is a busy
truck body building and manufacturing business
specialising in custom service bodies and specialised commercial vehicles.
We are seeking an
experienced Auto Electrician
to join our team. This is a hands‐on role involving the electrical fit‐out of new truck bodies and commercial vehicles.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing and wiring
*****V electrical systems and accessories
Fitting accessories such as
auxiliary batteries, Smart Start, Anderson plugs, work lights, warning lights, inverters and winches
Running, terminating and protecting wiring through truck bodies and chassis
Fault finding, testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
Completing electrical fit‐outs on new and existing commercial vehicles
Working with our fabrication, fitting and workshop teams to complete builds
About You




To be successful, you will have:
Qualified
Auto Electrician
with minimum 3 years' experience
Strong knowledge of
*****V vehicle electrical systems
Experience fitting and wiring vehicle accessories
Experience with
auxiliary batteries, Smart Start and Anderson plugs
Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical faults
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in truck body building, commercial vehicles, fleet or manufacturing will be highly regarded.
What We Offer
Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm | Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm
