About the Appointment
As Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function across several entities and be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering people leadership, financial operations, reporting, audit, FP&A;, commercial decision support and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee month-end, year-end and statutory reporting requirements
Manage a small team,
including shared resources
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Partner with senior leadership on strategy, performance and decision-making
Provide financial oversight of major projects and business initiatives
Manage cash flow forecasting
Coordinating audit processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain strong financial controls, governance and compliance
Identify opportunities to improve, automate and streamline processes
Work closely with stakeholders across the broader Group
About You
This position is more than simply reporting on the numbers. You will be a commercially minded finance leader who can balance being operationally hands-on with providing strategic support to the organisation.
Ideally, you will bring:
CA/CPA qualification
5+ years' in a similar role
A hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically
Strong budgeting, forecasting and management accounting capability
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
Knowledge of IFRS, financial controls and governance
Strong analytical and systems capability
