Specially in Mooroolbark, Northcote,Hiedelberg west area

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and community participation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care and complex care support
Supporting clients with daily living activities and household tasks
Assisting clients to access the community, appointments and social activities




Supporting clients with complex behaviours using positive behaviour support strategies
Promoting dignity, choice, independence and individual goals
Maintaining accurate documentation and client records
Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and support teams
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you'll have:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care (or Nursing qualification)
Minimum 2 years' experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours
Minimum 1-2 years' experience providing complex personal care
Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, reliable and skilled approach
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays as required
Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Full Australian working rights (all visa holders with valid work rights are encouraged to apply)
