Technical Operations Manager | Hospital Capital Projects

, you will work closely with leading hospitals across Australia and New Zealand, the business delivers complex capital equipment projects that transform clinical environments and improve healthcare outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director, you'll lead a Technical Operations team responsible for delivering complex hospital capital projects across Australia and New Zealand. From tender stage through to installation and commissioning, you'll oversee multidisciplinary projects, partnering with hospitals, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll combine technical expertise, project management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder engagement to deliver multi-million-dollar healthcare infrastructure projects.
About the Role:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary Technical Operations team delivering complex hospital capital projects across ANZ.
Manage end-to-end project delivery from tender support, planning, and budgeting through to installation, validation, and project completion.
Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, hospitals, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget,
and to quality standards.
Provide technical guidance on equipment installation, infrastructure requirements, project feasibility, and risk management.
Partner with Sales during tender and pre-sales activities, supporting technical submissions and project planning.
Drive project planning, resource allocation, budgets, timelines, vendor management, and customer satisfaction across multiple concurrent projects.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience delivering capital equipment or healthcare infrastructure projects, ideally within hospital environments.
Robust project leadership with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of hospital construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and technical project delivery.
Confident engaging with hospitals, architects, contractors, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
Flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
