Your new role
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you'll oversee the technical, quality and people leadership aspects of the laboratory.
Responsibilities include managing analytical workflows, troubleshooting laboratory methods and instrumentation, overseeing quality records and audits, ensuring production targets achieved, maintaining ISO***** compliance requirements, and leading laboratorystaff to deliver safe, accurate and timely results.
What you'll need to succeed
Chemistry or analytical laboratory background. Experience performing and troubleshooting analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.




Robust understanding of laboratory quality systems and ISO***** standards.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a laboratory environment.
Experience managing performance, training and employee development.
Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, quality control and compliance requirements.
Ability to investigate non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need to get in return
Permanent residential Townsville position. 5/2 roster working either 6am-6pm or 7am-5pm.
