APS Level 6 - Revenue Manager - Regulatory Assistance Section

As the Revenue Management Team Leader, you will lead a high performing team responsible for delivering accurate and timely invoicing, receipting, and account management services to support the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) cost recovery framework. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity, strong stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement in revenue management processes.
Key responsibilities:
Leading, supervising and mentoring a team, including workload coordination and people management responsibilities.
Overseeing invoicing, receipting, and account management activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with the TGA's fees and charges framework.
Supporting the Assistant Director and guide the team through annual charge invoicing and peak workload periods.
Managing debt recovery activities, including payment plans, insolvency matters, cancellations for non-payment, and contribution to debt management reporting.
Resolving complex or escalated internal and external stakeholder enquiries with professionalism and sound judgement.
Overseeing financial reconciliation activities, including issuing monthly statements and maintaining accurate system records.
Contributing to business process, system improvements, and the review of standard operating procedures.

Desirable qualifications and experience:
A qualification in finance or accounting.
Experience in finance or accounting.
Eligibility
To be eligible for employment with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, applicants must be an Australian citizen at the time an offer of employment is made.
An applicant's suitability for employment with Health will also be assessed through a variety of pre-employment check processes, such as:
Satisfactory completion of a criminal history check, and where relevant, a Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check,
Completion of a medical declaration and pre-employment medical (where required),
Providing evidence of qualifications (where required), and
Obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.

This recruitment process is being used to fill both ongoing and non-ongoing positions. Non-ongoing positions will be offered on a specified term basis for an initial period of up to 12 months with the possibility of being extended (this will not exceed a total of 24 months in the same or similar role).
