Based in
Cooma
and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager for NSW, no two days are alike.
This is a dynamic role is accountable for fleet, stock, staff and a diverse portfolio of customers across the region.

You will be responsible for:
Daily operational management & supervision of all company staff and contractors
Comply with all external regulatory requirements – including BFM
Manage freight assets & scheduling functions to optimise vehicle efficiencies
Rostering staff in accordance with operational requirements
Inventory Management of bulk & packaged goods stock
Sales & Relationship - using your natural enthusiasm for sales, build relationships with existing and prospective customers to deliver sales solutions
Manage safety, credit & contractual risk
Ideally you will have:
C Class Driver Licence
Previous experience in heavy vehicle &/or fuel industry an advantage
B2B sales experience with an ability to prospect and build an opportunity pipeline and business relationships
Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility legislation
Effective communicator with proven record of building & maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Confident decision-maker with ability to work autonomously & lead a team within a diverse logistics operation
Well-developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills
An ability to travel regionally across a defined territory in NSW with some overnight and multiple night stays required.
Experience with a CRM is highly desirable along with sound skills in the use of the MS suite products.
