Gulgong District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis from now through 31 October ****. Based at Gulgong MPS in NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a agile ED environment where your triage expertise and clinical leadership will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, with the flexibility of contract work and the chance to develop your emergency nursing practice in a supportive setting.
Lead ED triage operations and work in charge of the shift when required
AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, contract to 31 October ****
Based at Gulgong MPS, NSW, with scope to build your emergency department experience
Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated experience in emergency department triage assessment and patient prioritisation
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Ability to work in charge of the shift and manage ED operations independently
Strong clinical assessment skills and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills across the multidisciplinary ED team
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in Emergency Nursing
Familiarity with the Australasian Triage Scale and electronic medical record systems
