. Renowned for its authentic wood-fired cooking, exceptional wines and warm South American hospitality, San Telmo has been one of Melbourne's most celebrated dining destinations for over a decade. This is an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working alongside one of the city's most experienced front-of-house teams.
Reporting to a Restaurant Supervisor, you'll receive dedicated monthly appraisals, genuine professional support and ongoing opportunities to develop your skills while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, premium venue.
In the Section Waiter role, your day-to-day will involve:
Managing your own section while delivering attentive, professional table service
Building rapport with guests and creating memorable dining experiences
Confidently recommending food and beverages using solid product knowledge
Maintaining exceptional presentation and attention to detail throughout service
Working closely with the bar, kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service
Handling guest feedback professionally while contributing to a positive team culture




Our successful candidate will have:
1-2 years' experience as a Section Waiter in a premium, high-volume venue
Passion for hospitality, food and wine
Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with guests
Valid working rights in Australia
Team-first mindset with a positive, professional attitude
