Where you'll be working
You will be based with the PARVAN team at the RNS Community Health Centre and be co-located across the District with Mental Health and AOD services.
What you'll be doing
The NSW Health Adult Survivors Program aims to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs, including mental health and alcohol and other drug needs and to strengthen the capability of the workforce that supports them.
The Senior Clinician provides expert clinical leadership within a hybrid role, combining strategic program implementation, capacity building and direct clinical care. The position supports quality improvement, community engagement and evaluation to enhance service effectiveness and accessibility.
Working collaboratively with PARVAN, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol, Aboriginal Health Services and community stakeholders, the role contributes to the delivery of holistic, trauma- and violence-informed care. This includes co-designing and delivering education and training to build workforce capability in responding to victim-survivors.
The role delivers and supports high-quality clinical services for adult survivors with complex needs, including case management, therapeutic interventions, complex case consultation and group work. The position also contributes to the design, delivery and evaluation of group programs for survivors and their families/support networks.
The Senior Clinician undertakes outreach across NSLHD, including co-location with Mental Health and/or AOD services, to strengthen integration, access and continuity of care.
