Our client is an Australian leader in battery energy storage technology, delivering innovative, fully integrated BESS solutions that power the electrification of commercial, industrial and utility-scale energy projects. As demand for grid-scale and behind-the-meter storage accelerates, they're growing their team and looking for an Engineering Manager to help lead the way.
The Role
This is a newly created role at the heart of the business, combining customer-focused project delivery with the ongoing development of the company's energy technology platforms.
You'll lead the engineering function across project engineering and software engineering, building the leadership, capability, processes and technical governance needed to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for customers.
You'll also be growing a software team of electrical and software engineers, so we're looking for someone who knows how to build high-performing engineering teams in a fast-moving project environment,



not just manage one that already exists.
What You'll Bring
5+ years in an engineering leadership role, ideally within a C&I; or utility-scale project environment
A track record of building, coaching and managing engineering teams
Comfort operating across both project delivery and platform/product development
A hands-on leadership style suited to a scaling, fast-paced business
