Baywood has recently completed a major drymill upgrade and is now commissioning a state‐of‐the‐art automated sawmill, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. With this new sawmilling equipment and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, we're setting new benchmarks in quality, environmental stewardship and long‐term value for our customers and their communities.
As part of this growth, we are seeking experienced skilled operators to join our next-generation sawmill operation. If you've mastered excavators, rollers, graders or joystick‐controlled equipment in civil, construction, ag or you have experience in the timber industry operating high tech automated equipment, this is your opportunity to transition into something exciting, local and long‐term.
About the Role
As a key part of our production team, you'll operate state of the art sawmilling machinery. Ideal for those who love being on the controls and want a stable, fulfilling career out of the dirt and into a clean modern work environment.
You'll be:
Operating brand new, state‐of‐the‐art sawmilling machinery




Monitoring production systems with precision and efficiency
Working alongside an experienced, high‐performing, supportive team
Learning new systems and contributing to process improvements
What You Bring
Experience operating machinery such as excavators, graders, dozers, or rollers or similar automated sawmilling equipment
Strong hand‐eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
A safety‐first attitude and a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and thrive in a new industry
A team mindset — motivated, reliable and ready to contribute
