An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded, independent investment firm in Melbourne. The firm partners with successful Australian businesses and management teams, providing flexible capital and taking a long-term approach to investing. The opportunity is for an Investment Associate to join a high-performing and entrepreneurial investment team, with exposure across the full investment lifecycle from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities through to transaction execution and portfolio management.
The role will involve evaluating new investment opportunities, undertaking detailed financial and commercial analysis, building and reviewing financial models, conducting market and industry research, supporting due diligence processes and preparing investment committee materials. The Associate will work closely with management teams, advisers and external stakeholders,



while also contributing to portfolio monitoring, value creation initiatives and transaction execution.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2–6 years' experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A; or a closely related role. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, excellent commercial judgement and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely are essential.
