We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Officer
to support the delivery of a portfolio of projects within a complex and fast-paced environment. Working with limited direction, you will coordinate project activities, manage schedules and reporting, engage with stakeholders, and provide specialist advice to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate project activities and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting frameworks.
Prepare project documentation including business cases, executive briefs, plans, and reports.
Monitor project budgets, expenditure, procurement activities, and contracts.
Identify, monitor, and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.
Support quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across multiple levels.
Conduct research, analysis,



and reporting to support project objectives.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to project team members.
Represent the project team in meetings, workshops, and other forums.
About You
You are a highly organised project professional with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You can effectively manage competing priorities, apply sound judgement, and work collaboratively across teams to achieve outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing projects within established project management frameworks.
Strong project planning, scheduling, reporting, and coordination skills.
Experience monitoring project performance, risks, budgets, and deliverables.
Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Robust analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience contributing to quality management and process improvement initiatives.
Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop staff where required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
