ACCIONA, in joint venture with Genus, will design and construct 230km of new 500kV double circuit transmission line and expand the existing Bannaby 500kV substation.
The line connects Bannaby to the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
The project strengthens the national grid and supports the shift to renewable energy.About OpportunityAs Safety Advisor, you will support the HumeLink East project team to implement and monitor safety systems across site operations.
Reporting to the Senior Safety Advisor, you will work closely with supervisors, engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and ACCIONA standards.




You will play a hands-on role in building a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement across a large-scale linear infrastructure project.Key accountabilities for the position will be:Implement site safety systems and monitor complianceConduct safety inspections, audits and site walksInvestigate incidents and identify corrective actionsCoach supervisors and subcontractors on safe work practicesReview and update risk assessments and work method statementsDeliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety trainingReport safety performance and trends to project leadershipRequired Skills and CompetenciesCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)Experience in a similar safety advisory roleSound understanding of WHS legislative frameworksIncident investigation experience (ICAM or similar)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
