Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen Techie International College's market position, support sustainable student enrolment growth and communicate the College's course offerings to prospective students and stakeholders.
The role combines market research, campaign strategy, digital marketing, content development, stakeholder liaison and performance analysis, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and consistent brand presentation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement annual and campaign-specific marketing plans aligned with the College's strategic objectives, course delivery profile, target markets and enrolment priorities.
Advise management on market positioning, audience segmentation, channel selection, promotional timing and resource allocation.
Establish campaign objectives, budgets, timelines and key performance indicators, and coordinate delivery against approved plans.
Market Research and Analysis
Conduct research into prospective student needs, education-sector trends, competitor activity, pricing, course demand and relevant geographic markets.
Analyse quantitative and qualitative information from enquiries, applications, enrolments, digital platforms, surveys and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
Prepare market insights, forecasts and recommendations to support management decisions on promotion, student recruitment and service development.
Campaign and Digital Marketing
Plan, coordinate and optimise integrated campaigns across search, social media, email, website, print, events and partner channels.
Manage campaign schedules, audience targeting, creative requirements,



landing pages and calls to action to support enquiry and enrolment conversion.
Use analytics, customer relationship management and advertising platforms to monitor reach, engagement, lead quality, conversion and return on marketing expenditure.
Content, Brand and Promotional Materials
Develop, commission, edit and publish accurate and engaging content for the College's website, social media, email communications, brochures, presentations and advertising.
Maintain a coordinated content calendar and ensure communications are timely, audience-appropriate and consistent with the College's approved brand and messaging.
Coordinate designers, printers, media suppliers and other external providers, ensuring quality, budget and deadline requirements are met.
Stakeholder Engagement and Events
Build and maintain productive relationships with education agents, community and industry partners, alumni, prospective students and other referral stakeholders.
Plan and represent the College at education fairs, seminars, open days, orientation activities and information sessions, including onshore and offshore events where required.
Collaborate with internal teams so promotional messages accurately reflect course information, admissions processes, student support services and operational capacity.
Reporting, Budget and Continuous Improvement
Monitor marketing expenditure and supplier commitments, maintaining accurate records and using resources cost-effectively.
Prepare regular campaign and marketing performance reports for management, explaining results, variances, insights and recommended actions.
Test and refine campaigns,



content and channel mix to improve lead generation, conversion, stakeholder engagement and brand awareness.
Compliance and General Responsibilities
Ensure marketing content is accurate, supportable and approved through relevant internal processes before publication, and maintain appropriate records of campaigns and source material.
Handle personal and commercial information confidentially and comply with applicable College policies, privacy requirements and workplace health and safety obligations.
Perform other reasonable marketing-related duties as directed by the CEO/Director, consistent with the position's skills, responsibilities and level.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and substantial professional experience.
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns; experience in education, training or another service-based sector is desirable.
Strong capability in market research, audience segmentation, campaign analysis and translating data into practical recommendations.
Proficiency with digital advertising, web analytics, email marketing, social media management and CRM platforms; experience with content and design tools is advantageous.
High-standard written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages for culturally and linguistically diverse audiences.
Solid organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent campaigns, suppliers, deadlines and budgets.
Demonstrated stakeholder-management skills, sound professional judgement and a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach.
Knowledge of the Australian international education environment and relevant marketing obligations is desirable.
