Sewer Supervisor (Maintenance) [Re-advertised]
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Sewer Supervisor (Maintenance)
to join our Utilities team.
In this role you will oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities of the sewer network within the Utilities branch, leading a team, scheduling work assignments, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements, and managing equipment, materials and operational resources effectively. Team composition and direct reports may vary depending on operational requirements.
The Sewer Supervisor (Maintenance) plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of Council's sewer infrastructure, supporting the delivery of essential services while protecting public health and the setting.
This role is dual graded depending on your skills and qualifications; without a trade is considered a Grade 4 and with a trade is a Grade 6 in our salary structure.
Note: This role is based in the Byron Shire of Northern NSW. We are open to considering candidates for relocation, so are extending our search to people based in other metropolitan areas who may be seeking better work-life balance and a lifestyle change. We are offering
Full time permanent position (38 hours per week / 9 day fortnight)
Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of:
Grade 4: $1,****** - $1,****** + 3%Market Loading
Grade 6: $1,**********,****** + 7% Market Loading
Per 38 hour week (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:
This position is based at our Depot and (STP) Sewerage Treatment Plant in Byron Bay; however,
Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
