This varied, hands-on position will work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, overseeing key finance, human resources and administrative functions.
The Role The Business Manager will play an important role in keeping the organisation running efficiently while supporting its continued growth.
Key responsibilities will include: Supporting budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes Administering employment contracts, leave and timesheets Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities Managing office facilities, company assets, travel and suppliers Preparing meeting agendas, reports and minutes Coordinating the Managing Director's calendar and meetings Supporting client engagement and business development activities Assisting with proposals, tenders and marketing materials Liaising with external accountants, bookkeepers, IT providers and advisers Identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation and AI About You The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and comfortable moving between financial,



people and administrative priorities.
The ideal candidate will offer: Three to five years' experience in business management, office management or a similar position Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reconciliations Sound accounting knowledge and confidence using Excel and Xero Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities The confidence to work independently and engage with senior stakeholders A proactive, adaptable and self-motivated approach The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality A qualification in business, accounting or a related discipline will be highly regarded, with CPA or MBA qualifications viewed favourably.
Due to the nature of the organisation's work, candidates must be Australian citizens and hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NV1 security clearance.
