About the Role We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join a busy branch environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality customer service while supporting the growth and development of existing and prospective customers.
You will act as a product and service expert, helping customers find the right solutions while ensuring orders, quotations and sales activities are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, including processing customer orders and responding promptly to enquiries, concerns and complaints.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify their ongoing needs.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Prepare quotations in collaboration with the Branch Manager and relevant sales team members.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records and CRM activity.
Assist with sales projects, proposals and marketing initiatives.
Work closely with branch teams, external sales, product and inventory teams, supply chain and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Support pricing, stocktaking, purchasing and inventory-related activities.
Prepare required sales reports, records and documentation.
Participate in branch meetings and contribute to sales improvement initiatives.




Maintain a strong focus on workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
Build positive and professional relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Work collaboratively as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently.
About YouWe are looking for someone who brings: Previous experience in an internal sales, customer service, sales support or similar role, preferably within an industrial, trade, logistics or distribution environment.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Good product knowledge and the ability to understand customer requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
A positive, practical and solutions-focused attitude.
The ability to work quickly, accurately and methodically in a busy environment.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A robust commitment to workplace safety.
A Certificate II or III in Warehousing Operations and/or Logistics , or demonstrated experience in a similar role, is desirable.
