An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Project Support Coordinator
to join a high-profile Federal Government organisation and support the delivery of a significant
national infrastructure upgrade program
.
Working closely with the Project Manager and a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will provide comprehensive project coordination support across
governance, reporting, financial administration, documentation and stakeholder engagement
.
The Role
As Project Support Coordinator, you will play an integral role in keeping the project organised, governed and progressing against agreed schedules.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing end-to-end project coordination and administrative support across the project lifecycle
Supporting project governance forums, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes and tracking actions and decisions
Preparing, maintaining and quality-assuring project documentation including project plans, schedules, reports, risk and issue registers and decision logs
Supporting progress reporting, dashboards, governance reporting and executive briefings
Monitoring project milestones, actions, risks, issues, deliverables and dependencies
Supporting project financial management including expenditure tracking, purchase requisitions, invoices, forecasting and financial reconciliation
Coordinating project logistics including workshops, stakeholder meetings, travel and site visits
Maintaining accurate project records and document management systems
Building effective relationships across technical, operational, procurement,
finance and corporate stakeholder groups
About You
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
Substantial experience in a
Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer or similar project-focused position
Demonstrated experience supporting projects across the
full project lifecycle
Strong experience with
project governance, reporting and secretariat functions
Experience supporting
project financial management
, including expenditure and financial record keeping
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence engaging with a diverse range of technical, operational and corporate stakeholders
Strong capability across Microsoft Office and project management, document management, reporting and collaboration tools
Sound knowledge of recognised project management principles and methodologies
Important Eligibility Requirement: Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this prospect.
