As the business continues to grow, they need a sharp and driven Estimator or Senior Estimator to come in, take ownership of the tender process and help push the business forward.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Working closely with the Pre Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of end to end estimating across a diverse portfolio of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
From early cost planning through to lodging competitive tender submissions, your work will directly shape which projects this business secures.
Whether you are a few years into your estimating career or operating at senior level, there is real scope here to work at a level that suits you and grow well beyond it.
DUTIES
Prepare and submit competitive tender packages
End to end project estimating
Cost planning and budget analysis
Scope of works preparation
Subcontractor negotiations
Pre tender planning
Bill of Quantities
Collaborate with the team on programming
Mentor junior estimating staff (Senior Estimator)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE




Experience in an estimating role within the commercial construction industry
Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment
Strong analytical ability and sharp attention to detail.
Experience pricing projects up to $30M
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field
Secure and consistent work history with previous employers
