In this role, you will lead Indigenous employment initiatives that shape outcomes across the University.
You will build programs, partnerships and capability that strengthen recruitment, retention and leadership for Indigenous staff, with scope to broaden your impact over time.
What you will deliver:
Lead implementation of Murmuk Djerring and the Indigenous Employment Framework initiatives across the University.
Design, coordinate and continuously improve Indigenous Employment Programs that support recruitment, retention and career development.
Partner with HR and leaders to embed culturally safe, inclusive employment practices and build organisational capability.
Grow program participation and pathways for Indigenous staff, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and measurable outcomes.
Monitor performance, manage risks, and provide high-quality reports, briefings and insights to inform strategy.
You may be a great fit if you:
Bring experience leading complex programs in HR, employment, workforce or organisational development within large organisations.
Deliver proven outcomes in recruitment, retention and professional development, ideally supporting Indigenous or equity-focused initiatives.
Possess deep understanding of factors influencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment and career progression.
Provide high-level advice and capability building for HR and senior stakeholders on culturally safe employment practices.
Manage end-to-end program delivery, including planning, implementation, evaluation, compliance and reporting in complex settings.
Produce clear reports, briefings and presentations,
and balance competing priorities while maintaining strong relationships.

Joining Korin Korin within the Indigenous Portfolio, you will contribute to university-wide Indigenous employment transformation.
Led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous), the Portfolio embeds Indigenous perspectives across strategy, policy and practice.
Korin Korin focuses on attracting, supporting and growing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and leadership.
