An established and highly respected electronic security provider is looking to add an experienced
Security Estimator
to their Brisbane team. The business delivers integrated security solutions for high-end commercial and government clients, working across major projects and long-term accounts where quality, technical capability and attention to detail are critical.
This is a outstanding opportunity to join the Sales team and play a key role in preparing major project tenders, quotations and commercial proposals. You'll work closely with sales, technical and project teams to understand project requirements, develop accurate estimates and put together high-quality submissions for major accounts and clients.
The team is involved in exciting enterprise security projects incorporating technologies including
Genetec, Gallagher, Geutebruck and Inner Range Integriti
, as well as integrated CCTV, access control, alarm and other electronic security solutions.
About the Role
Prepare detailed estimates, quotations and major project tenders based on tender specifications, project documentation and information provided by the Sales team
Prepare system designs where required, ensuring proposed solutions meet client requirements and project specifications
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and other tender documentation to develop accurate and competitive proposals
Compile comprehensive tender and quotation submissions, including drawings, written responses, specification responses, clarifications, qualifications and tender schedules
Price equipment, labour, installation and associated project costs
Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and obtain relevant information
Attend site surveys when required to understand project requirements, site conditions and installation considerations
Work closely with Sales, Project Management and Technical teams throughout the tender and quotation process
Ensure tenders and quotations are accurate, commercially competitive and submitted within required timeframes
Support the team with a range of major commercial and government projects

About You
Ideally, you'll have previous experience in
security estimating or a similar commercial role within the electronic security industry
. Experience estimating enterprise-level security systems will be highly regarded.
You may currently be working as a Security Estimator, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Security Designer or Senior Security Technician and be looking to move into a more commercially focused position.
Experience with systems such as Genetec, Gallagher, Geutebruck, Inner Range Integriti, CCTV, access control, alarms and integrated security solutions would be advantageous.
You'll be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and specifications, understanding project requirements and translating them into practical security solutions and accurate commercial proposals. Strong attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines will be important.
