About Our Client
Our client is a well-established Australian organisation based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to support their finance team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on a temporary basis.
Job Description
Processing and reconciling high-volume accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Monitoring outstanding invoices and proactively following up on overdue payments.
Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and customer account queries.
Maintaining accurate customer account records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Supporting month-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
Preparing and distributing regular aged debt and AR performance reports.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment resolution.
Providing administrative support to the wider finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.




Robust understanding of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles.
Experience using SAP or a similar large ERP system, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines in a busy team environment.
Immediate availability or the ability to commence at short notice
