Position Overview
As an SMSF Senior or Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a technically complex SMSF portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing approximately 150 SMSFfunds
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, partners and managers
Reviewing SMSF compliance work completed by junior and offshore staff
Managing workflow, deadlines and service delivery across the portfolio
Supporting and mentoring a junior/graduate team member




Escalating complex technical matters to senior leadership where required
Building strong client relationships and maintaining high service standards
The portfolio is technically demanding, so this role suits someone who enjoys more complex SMSF work rather than high-volume, straightforward compliance.
Requirements
4+ years' experience in SMSF accounting within public practice
Strong experience managing complex SMSF funds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a MUST
Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
Experience with BGL360 highly regarded
SMSF qualification preferred
CA qualification is not essential
Strong organisational and workflow management skills
