Operating as a Corporate Authorised Representative (CAR) of Banyan Securities Pty Ltd (AFSL ******), Brightday provides services across superannuation and retirement planning, wealth creation and investment, personal insurance and wealth protection, cashflow and debt management, estate planning assistance, and ongoing financial review services.
The business is continuing to expand its financial advice operations through organic client growth, client book acquisitions and ongoing investment in advice delivery, technology and client acquisition.
Position Overview Brightday Australia is seeking a motivated and client-focused Financial Adviser to join their growing financial advice team.
The Financial Adviser will be responsible for managing client relationships and delivering tailored financial advice across investment, superannuation, retirement planning, insurance and broader wealth management matters.
The role will involve assessing clients' financial circumstances and objectives, developing appropriate financial strategies, presenting and implementing recommendations, and conducting ongoing reviews, while working closely with Brightday's research, paraplanning and client service teams.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Meet with clients to assess their financial circumstances, goals, needs and risk profiles.
• Develop tailored financial strategies covering investments, superannuation, retirement planning, insurance and broader wealth management matters.
• Review clients' existing financial arrangements, portfolios, assets, liabilities, income,
expenditure and insurance position.
• Research and evaluate financial products and investment options relevant to individual client circumstances.
• Prepare, review and present Statements of Advice, Records of Advice and related financial recommendations.
• Explain recommended strategies, products, risks, costs and implementation requirements to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee implementation of agreed financial strategies with superannuation funds, investment platforms, insurers and other providers.
• Conduct ongoing client reviews and recommend changes where financial circumstances, objectives or market conditions change.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure advice activities comply with relevant Securities policies, professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: The successful candidate should have: Qualifications and Experience • A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in financial planning, finance, commerce, business, economics, accounting or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant professional education, training or qualifications applicable to financial advice will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated professional experience in financial advice, financial planning, banking, wealth management, investment advisory or a closely related financial services setting.
• Experience working directly with individual clients to assess their financial circumstances and objectives.
• Experience developing or implementing financial plans, investment strategies, superannuation strategies or other personal financial solutions.
• Experience managing ongoing client relationships and conducting periodic financial reviews.
• Experience preparing, reviewing or working with Statements of Advice, Records of Advice or comparable financial advice documentation will be highly regarded.
• Experience working within an Australian financial services environment will be highly regarded.

Regulatory and Professional Requirements • The Financial Adviser will operate within Brightday Australia's authorised financial services framework and the Australian financial services licence arrangements of Banyan Securities Pty Ltd.
• All regulated financial advice activities must be performed in accordance with applicable Australian financial services legislation, professional standards, authorisation requirements and Brightday/Banyan Securities compliance procedures.
• Where personal advice is provided to retail clients in relation to relevant financial products, the employee must satisfy the regulatory, professional, authorisation and registration requirements applicable to the activities they perform.
