The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, maintenance and ongoing evolution of complex ICT environments.
You will provide senior technical expertise across architecture, service delivery, configuration management and security, ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose. Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders, you will support mission-critical operations in a role that offers varied work, including occasional travel and shift work requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, maintain and improve ICT solutions to support operational and business requirements.
Provide technical leadership across systems architecture, configuration management, security and service delivery.
Manage system performance, availability,
maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
Identify and mitigate technical and security risks while supporting compliance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes and provide clear technical advice.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and training materials.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting across complex ICT environments.
About You
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance and a current driver's licence are required.
Demonstrated experience in ICT systems architecture, configuration management and data management.
Strong understanding of network operations, tactical communications systems and Tactical Data Links, including Link-16.
Sound knowledge of ICT security principles and practices.
Experience developing and delivering technical training.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative to meet deadlines.
Due to the security requirements of this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens and have the ability to obtain a NV2 Security Clearance.
