Workfast is currently looking for an experienced
A-Grade Electrician
to join our team working on the
Wallen Child Care Centre project in Wallan, VIC
.
The project is currently at the rough-in stage, with a minimum of 4 weeks' work available. For the right electrician who is reliable, experienced and fully capable, this role is an ongoing position; potential weekend work required.
Commencing ASAP.

Monday to Friday, temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate

What You Need
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
Electrical Trade Qualification
Construction White Card
Valid Driver's Licence
Australian Work Rights
Proven experience in commercial construction and electrical rough-in
Ability to read and work from electrical plans and drawings
Strong understanding of electrical installation requirements and Australian Standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused




Must be fully capable of completing rough-in electrical works to a high standard
What You Will Be Doing
Electrical rough-in works throughout the child care centre
Installing conduits, cables, outlets and electrical equipment
Working from electrical plans and drawings
General electrical installation and construction works
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards
Working alongside other trades and site personnel
Maintaining a clean and safe work workplace
Following site safety procedures and completing required documentation
Travelling to different areas/site locations
