Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects within the civil infrastructure sector.
Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for inclusion in estimates.
Maintain and update cost databases and records for future reference.
Present and justify estimates to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor project costs and provide updates as required.
Requirements
Strong experience in estimating within the civil infrastructure industry
Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Expert estimation or similar software experience preferred
A solid understanding of construction methods, materials and market rates.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.




A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management or a related field.
Ability to work self sufficiently and autonomously
